Cornwall Enterprise - Air Transport Strategy for Cornwall, U.K.
GD Economics principals were part of a team developing an air transport strategy for Cornwall. The strategy focused on the development of Cornwall’s key aviation assets in the context of EU Objective 1 funding for the development of the region. In particular, the strategy establishes the link between an air transport strategy and strategies being prepared for economic development, tourism and culture and heritage. The strategy outlines the importance of maintaining and enhancing existing facilities and services at Newquay Cornwall Airport in order to provide the foundations for aviation and non-aviation based economic diversification in the medium to long term.
